Series of 8 prints: London, Milan, Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, Los Angeles, Lagos + Accra
Limited edition of 250 per print
Mixed Sizes
£120 +VAT indiv. / £900 + VAT full set

Discover a series of eight screen-prints by cult London-based Nigerian artist Slawn. Translating the immateriality of a CIRCA commission into physical screen-prints, the artist spray painted onto bespoke cut perspex sheets, scaled to fit each screen in London, Milan, Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, Los Angeles, Lagos and Accra.

Appearing on screens worldwide throughout December, each screen-print is created using four hand-pulled screens (red, blue, yellow and black) to recreate the final paintings.

Collect individual screen prints (£120 +VAT) or the full set of eight (£900 +VAT) by selecting from the drop down menu below.

Heralding their entrance into the African content, CIRCA presents GONE?, a site-specific study on the theme of hope by Nigerian-born, London-based artist Slawn. Launching Wednesday 6 December, and set to halt billboard screens worldwide at 20:23 local time until New Year’s Eve, the collaboration debuts on screens in Accra, Nairobi, Abidjan, and Lagos — the birth town of Slawn – whilst maintaining CIRCA’s presence in London’s Piccadilly Circus, Milan, Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, and Los Angeles.

Proceeds from each print support the #CIRCAECONOMY – a circular model designed to fund the CIRCA free public art programme and create life-changing opportunities for the creative community.

Since launching in October 2020 on London’s iconic Piccadilly Lights, CIRCA has distributed over £500,000 in cash grants, scholarships and donations. Discover more here

Although we endeavour to deliver the prints as soon as possible, please note that due to the process involved, it may take up to 2 months to arrive in the post. To guarantee each print arrives in perfect condition, they are carefully wrapped in tissue paper, hand packaged in a heavy duty cardboard wrap and delivered with a tracking number. This is reflected in the shipping fee at checkout.

VAT is calculated in the checkout section in your cart and is dependent on the shipping destination. If your order is below 150€ then we will collect import duties for the EU at checkout. If it is over 150€ or your delivery address is not within the UK or EU, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery service charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you.

Each Limited Edition comes with a numbered and dated Certificate of Authenticity.

The work of London-based Nigerian artist Slawn (b.2000 in Lagos, Nigeria) pendulates between street art and abstract expressionism while exploring pertinent issues of politics, race, and identity. At 23 years old, Slawn stands as a cult icon, celebrated not just for his art but also as a street artist and skateboarder, esteemed by figures like Virgil Abloh and Skepta. His acclaim arises from an artistic signature that manipulates reality on large-scale canvases, intertwining cartoonish-like pop figures, bold, colourful forms, and stylish shapes defined with vivid hues that beckon the viewer. At first, seemingly playful and a descendant of street art, it is upon closer inspection that we see the intense human element that Slawn endows to each work, where he explores human psychology, politics, race, and other complex topics and issues still challenging society.
